Just like everyone subscribes to Playboy for the articles, most people frequent strip clubs for the cuisine--right?
Using lists from Chow.com and Time Out New York, among others, we compiled a list of the best strip club food.
From porterhouse steak to lobster tail–infused mashed potatoes, some of this stuff sounds pretty enticing, with or without the scantily-clad women.
But be sure to wash your hands before you dig in.
Camelot Show Bar: Washington, D.C.
Frequented by lobbyists and James Gandolfini (presumably doing research for a Sopranos movie), Camelot's menu highlights include charbroiled filet mignon medallions and a "Greek plate featuring oregano-seasoned steak tips, pickled peppers, feta, olives, and pita triangles."
Want an early start? Have their three egg omelette to fuel up.
Casa Diablo Gentleman's Club: Portland, OR
Not surprisingly, the first vegan strip club -- from the dancers' clothes to the menu -- opened in Portland. Casa Diablo's vegan delights include soy protein BBQ ribs and egg-less onion rings.
Alluvia Restaurant at the Cheetah Lounge: Atlanta, GA
Citysearch describes the Cheetah Lounge as a successful integration of "fine dining and hedonism," which sounds pretty good.
Highly touted chef Bill Toro has put together a menu that features shrimp cocktail, pan-seared duck, a wide variety of steak, and for brunch, an Atlanta favorite -- chicken and biscuits.
